Senior Thesis: Theatre | Finger Painting with the Hands of God
In order to graduate with a degree in the theatrical arts, Saint Mary’s women are required to complete a senior comprehensive project. In this project, all elements of theater are incorporated into a final production.
Through this production, the student will assume many roles including director, designer, casting agent, advertisement and marketing agent, producer, and possibly playwright. As a senior theater major at Saint Mary’s College, I will produce a fifty minute original work called "Finger Painting with the Hands of God".
"The lives of six humans intersect like the city streets of Chicago, where an unlikely stranger may hold the secret to forgiveness and redemption."
Senior Thesis: English Writing| One Time Too Many
In order to graduate with a degree in English Writing, Saint Mary's women are required to complete a comprehensive writing project: a thirty-page written work of the student's design. For my English thesis, I have written a play called "One Time Too Many".
Inspired by interviews and told completely in rhyme, "One Time Too Many" is a one act-play examining the race-relations between women of the millenial generation.
Ten-Minute Play | Unlocked
One of four plays read at the 2013 Goodman Theatre's Latino Festival Ten-minute play series, "Unlocked" follows Santiago Ramirez and his struggle to stay connected to his family and himself while assimilating into the expectations of a young man in the United States.
